How do I get there?
Meet at the Seven Sisters south car park, at the bottom of Cuckmere valley. It is easy to reach by bus and train.
Bus services: Routes 12, 12A, and 12X (Brighton & Hove Coaster) run between Brighton, Seaford, and Eastbourne, stopping directly at Seven Sisters Park Centre.
Frequency: every 10–20 minutes (up to 9 buses per hour between Brighton and Seaford)
Journey times: Brighton (about 1 hour), Seaford (7 minutes), Eastbourne (20 minutes)

Train services
Seaford Station: from Brighton (42 minutes) and London Victoria (1h 27m), then bus 12/12A/12X to Seven Sisters (7 minutes).
Eastbourne Station: direct from London Victoria, then bus 12/12A/12X to Seven Sisters.
Brighton Station: direct buses 12/12A/12X from outside the station (about 1 hour).
Is parking available?
Yes. There are two pay-and-display car parks. Car parks are open 7am–9pm (April–October) and 7am–6pm (November–March).
What time should I arrive?
Your booking confirmation email will give exact times. Aim to arrive 10-15 minutes early to settle in.
How do I book my place?
All bookings are made online. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
Are your retreats inclusive of all genders?
Yes. We welcome trans women and hold space for everyone who identifies as a woman. Our hikes celebrate the diverse experiences women bring.
Do you have specific policies on inclusivity?
We are committed to creating respectful, supportive spaces where all participants feel safe and valued. If you have specific needs, you can contact us in confidence before booking.
Can I transfer my booking to another retreat?
Yes. You can transfer free of charge up to 2 weeks before your hike.
Do you offer refunds?
No. We do not offer refunds. Booking is a commitment to attend, rain or shine (unless there is an official weather warning).
Do retreats go ahead in bad weather?
Yes. Retreats continue in rain, wind, or sunshine. We only postpone if the Met Office issues an official weather warning.
What happens if there’s a weather warning?
Your safety comes first. We will postpone and let you rebook.
Do you offer reduced-price options?
Yes. We provide subsidised places and flexible payment plans. Please contact us using the online form at the bottom of the page.

Is food provided?
We’ll take a few breaks along the way, so please bring your own snacks and water. At the end of the hike, there will also be an option to buy food.
Are the facilitators qualified?
Yes. All facilitators are certified, experienced, and insured to support your safety and wellbeing.
What if I’m not very fit or experienced?
That’s fine. Our retreats are designed to be accessible. We move at a steady pace with breaks for rest and reflection.
Can I attend on my own?
Yes. Many women join solo. Our groups are welcoming, and solo participants often find the experience especially empowering.
How large are the groups?
We keep groups small and intimate to allow for personal attention and meaningful connection.
What can I expect from the retreat?
You can expect to feel stronger, calmer, and more confident. The experience is about resilience, finding strength in yourself and in community, even when life feels like walking through the rain.
What is the terrain like?
There are some steps and ascents and descents over the steep Sisters. The ground is generally uneven throughout the hike.
